Who I Am
Meet Your Chess Instructor.
Dr. Mike Jansen, DPT
“Dr. Mike Chess” · Creator of Attack Or Develop!™
I was stuck at 1,000 for fifteen years — through college, grad school and a full doctorate. Then I pieced together the training methods I teach today and went from 1,000 to 2,000+ in less than a year. I recently hit 2,100+, and I'm still improving.
Since then I've coached 1,300+ students, and every one of them runs the system I teach. I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy by training — so I teach chess the way I'd treat a patient: find the exact problem, fix it, measure it.

Live 1-On-1 Coaching
Everything in the Accelerator — plus me, live, on your games. The fastest results I know how to deliver.
“We play, and I go seek-and-destroy on every weak point in your game. A course can show you what good chess looks like. It can't watch you make the decision and stop you right before the wrong one. I can. Out of everything I've done with 1,300+ students, this is what moved people fastest.”
— Dr. Mike Jansen, DPT
Here's What You Get ↓
♞
1-Hour Live Gameplay Sessions With Me
We play, and I coach you in real time, move by move — while it's happening, not after. Weekend slots you pick on my calendar.
- I play at your level — not to crush you, to challenge you
- I ask you questions mid-game — “What's your plan? What's he threatening?”
- I probe your thinking and make you rethink — before you move, not after
- I tell you what's holding you back — in real time, while you can feel it
🎥
Your Custom Game Plan (Personalized Video Recording)
Before we ever play, I analyze 3 of your games, answer 5 of your questions, and show you exactly how to use the course at your level, for your weaknesses, so you get the fastest results.

WhatsApp Access to My Real Number — 1 Month Bonus
Message me 24/7 — your wins, your games, quick questions. I reply when I can; there's no set response time. The live sessions are the core.

A chess thinking system built on three questions you ask before every move, in order. Is my opponent threatening something? Respond. Do I have a strong attacking idea? Play it. If not, develop. It tells you what to do even in positions you've never seen. It's the foundation of everything I teach, and the reason my students climb so fast.
